To me this layout makes sense, I can’t quite put my finger on it but it just seems instantly logical. Criticisms are levelled at the need to rotate the table in order to read all the elements but I think there are easy solutions to that. As a way of showing element groupings and weights I think it’s at least as good as Mendeleev’s table if not better.
