Cthulhuphant
Over at Tor.com they’ve had a bit of a Lovecraft-fest kicked off with a selection of Cthulhu-inspired artworks from a selection of artists but overwhelmingly made up of user contributions. My personal favourite is the Cthuluphant:
The submissions range from cute to creepy and funny to downright scary but are well worth a browse. And of course no Cthulhu image collection would be complete without a little Mike Mignola.
As an aside Lovecraft definitely sounds like a euphemistic term for prostitution.

As its name suggests, One Drawing for every page of Moby Dick is a blog where each day Matt Kish draws a picture for a page of Moby Dick in a variety of styles using a variety of media. He’s up to page 90 so far and all the images are good – but some of them are absolutely spot on.
