Battle Cat

God I hope we get a Master of the Universe film that’s in the world of the toys/cartoons.

So many of the characters may be batshit crazy but that’s what I want (full disclosure: I still have all my MOTU toys. My rarest is probably Roboto? Though mine are all well out of their packaging. I remember getting Castle Grayskull for Christmas when I was… four? I bought Ram-Man for 50p at a school fete. Pretty sure I’ve still got all the story books, plus the annual 198… 4? So awesome. I’ll stop now.)

Edit: This is also a great excuse to repost the greatest video the internet has ever produced:

Muji + Lego

muji

These look freakin awesome – sets of Lego with paper and a Lego holepunch. Back to what Lego should be about: imagination. I used to build crazy stuff when I was a kid but now everything seems to be a movie tie-in (that said I do own Lego Boba Fett but only because Boba Fett is awesome).

Lego timeline

Gizmodo have worked with Lego to produce a full timeline of Lego figures.

This is a bit like taking a walk back through my childhood – I can vividly remember the day I got some of these figures. Unless they’ve been inherited by cousins I definitely have some of those original Space figures, but my favourites were always the Pirates and Castle.

There’s a chance I also have Boba Fett.
