Tomorrowland
This looks great:
I love George Clooney, Brad Bird is great, what’s not to like?
Get a Horse!
I watched Frozen last night (finally) and I really enjoyed it, far more than I thought I would (from the trailers I thought Olaf would be irritating but instead he was hilarious).
The DVD also had a Mickey Mouse short called ‘Get a Horse!’ which is just delightful. You can watch it on Youtube here (embedding is disabled) and it’s just great. At first I thought it was genuinely an old Mickey cartoon but then, well, I’ll let you watch it.
Jeffrey Thomas
Whilst idly browsing the internet I came across The Art of Jeffrey Thomas, my personal favourites have to be Mickey Fenix and the Twisted Princesses:
A Logical Extrapolation?
I, no doubt like a million others, instantly thought ‘Steamboat Wolvie‘ at the news that Disney was buying Marvel, but to be honest I’ve left it a little too long to join in with the mashups (see also: Penny Arcade’s take, Kotaku’s Dream Team-ups).
But I still wanted to play and this seemed to make sense as a way to go – this is my two-minute lunchtime sketch version that I’ll work up into something proper soon – I’m looking forward to doing Alice the Homunculus/Roger the Goon…
It’s like all of my favourites in one
If only they were dressed as Stormtroopers.
